What is Call For Help?
Call for Help is a 24-hour crisis hotline answered by trained staff and volunteers. The hotline provides confidential telephone support to help callers who are struggling with emotional problems and crisis situations.

Our staff and volunteers are trained to help callers by listening, supporting, gathering information and providing referrals to community resources.  The goal of the Call for Help line is to help callers through their immediate crisis and connect them with resources to prevent future crisis.

Who can call?
Any person in Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, Putnam and Stark counties who needs someone to talk to or who is involved in a crisis situation can call.

What else does Call For Help offer?
Trained staff and volunteers are available to provide educational presentations to businesses, churches, support groups and civic organizations about mental health and suicide prevention. Talks can include such topics as: warning signs of suicide, communication skills, conflict resolution, anger control, depression, stress, self-esteem,  and other general mental health topics.
