Hearts of Hope Dinner and Art Auction
Hearts of Hope features outstanding local artists who create and donate work for the silent and live auctions. Art media include oil paintings, watercolors, photography, textiles, sculpture and more. This black-tie optional event includes cocktails, dinner, silent auction, and live auction.
The 12th Annual Hearts of Hope Dinner and Art Auction will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Mt. Hawley Country Club.
The name, Hearts of Hope, represents compassionate caring for persons experiencing mental illness, a hope for recovery from mental illness, and a better understanding of mental health issues in general. The event was originally created to honor Gertrude Kelley, a long-time supporter, volunteer and board member of MHAIV.
